River Safari, Singapore

RIVER SAFARI, SINGAPORE

On the 28th January, Wednesday; I went to River Safari, Singapore. It was pretty much what I've expected it to be. The scenery there is breathtaking and panoramic. It is a haven for avid photographers, adventurer, traveler or anyone of age! It is absolutely beautiful.

There is plenty of animals exhibitions that showcases river dwelling animals and not-your-everyday fish & turtle too!
There are 7 inspired rivers from around the world like; Congo river, River Nile, Ganges river, Mekong river, Yangtze river, Murray river and Mississippi river and 3 forest habitat; Giant Panda forest, Squirrel Monkey forest and Amazon flooded forest. It basically showcases a wide variety of animals from their places of origin.

HIGHLIGHT OF THE TRIP:

GIANT PANDA FOREST.
Southeast Asia's largest panda exhibit that showcases the famous twin panda from China, Kai Kai and Jia Jia.
Suprisingly they are photogenic and love attention. You can almost take picture of them at any angle!
But the pandas aren't the only showstopper in the exhibition. The 18°C-21°C bio-dome is also home to the adorable red panda and gorgeous golden pheasant.

AMAZON RIVER QUEST.
This ride is a MUST for everyone. It is basically a boat ride that brings you around the inspired Amazon rainforest which holds close to 30 animal species! So keep an eye for jaguar, flamingos, tapir, cloth, wolf and more!
The ride itself is amusing and enjoyable, with the cold breeze and minor splashing of water.

**Book your time slot at the counters.
**Boat rides are COMPLIMENTARY until further notice.
So grab them now!

AMAZON FLOODED FOREST.
The world's largest freshwater aquarium which showcases numerous of animals and impressive resemblance of their natural habitat is a must visit.
It's like stepping into the Amazon forest itself!

EATERIES:
Want to have a bite on the famous adorable panda paus? Then visit Mama Panda Kitchen (located at the Giant Panda Forest exit)
They also serve meals like bamboo rice, prawn dumplings and more Szechuan cuisines!
River Safari Tea House serves over 60 dishes from Singapore's various dialect groups. It's definitely a must try!
Do take note that both eateries are not HALAL certified.
But afraid not. They are plenty of small pushcarts and vending machines around that sell snacks and drinks!

VERDICT:
So that is all! On a poll of 10. I'll give it an 8.
If you're an avid photographer, traveler, adventurer or someone who loves nature, you have to visit River Safari.
You won't be disappointed at all!
